At the end of this year, I'll close down all unsafe messengers. So my accounts with Whatsapp will not be available anymore.

Please switch to RCS, Threema or Delta Chat. Residents of Rwanda or the EAC, please use Ayoba.

• RCS: Just use your usual SMS Messages App and activate RCS.
  -> Messages Settings   -> General   -> RCS chats   -> Turn on RCS chats
• Threema: The worlds most secure and private messenger from Switzerland (5 €/CHF/$ for lifetime).
• Delta.Chat: Very safe messenger from Germany using the existing email infrastructure for transport.
• Ayoba: Very secure messenger from South-Africa.

Signal?
They are an US foundation/company, and they use US based servers. One of these criterias is enough to fall under the "US cloud act". This means that Signal is not private. But oposite to Whatsapp, the usage of Signal is legal.
So, my Signal will continue to be used. Nothing more ...
